Our Work Case Study

Therapeutic Gaming

For the launch of the rebranded Childline website, Bold developed six games. Each offered therapeutic support to its users: Wall of Expression and Balloon allowed children and young people to write down their worries and either destroy them or see them float away; Snake and Pong provided classic distraction techniques; and a Trivia Quiz and Friendship Quiz offered light relief. We worked to ensure these games were usable on desktop as well as multiple mobile devices and operating systems, to respond seamlessly to how young people access Childline services.
