At the pioneering edge of viral communications Bold Creative understand online, it's role in young people's lives and how it can build bridges. Our understanding comes from underpinning all our work with research, either at the desk or, we believe more importantly, on the ground talking to the people who the project will affect. Bold ‘Best Practice’: Tower Hamlets Crime Reduction Services commissioned Bold to support the mediation process between young people and police on a local East London estate. Engaging both a younger Bengali population and an older white generation through both production and distribution, the resulting short animation promoted a more harmonious understanding between all social groups. Local to global – using archetypal themes, involving some of the most excluded young people on the estate, the film was widely distributed to a niche demographic across different East London via Bluetooth and the Web.
