Bold ‘Best Practice’:
The recent winner of the RTS award for ‘Best Children’s Programme 2006’ Bold Creative was commissioned by BBC Newsround to produce ‘Dillon’s Story’.

Featured as part of a documentary to raise national awareness of child poverty, ‘The Wrong Trainers’ was broadcast on BBC1 on December 1 2006 to widespread critical acclaim.

Told in his own words, Dillon’s Story successfully illustrates the day to day hardships faced by one in four children in the UK today, in an entertaining animated format.

Excerpts have since been broadcast on Radio 4, Newsnight and a variety of key media to demonstrate best practice in communicating to a youth audience.
