Dillons Story
Children’s BBC
Bold Creative worked with sensitive and highly personal material to create a 3 minute innovative 2-D and 3-D animation, which told Dillon’s personal first hand account of how poverty had impacted his young life and his family.
The Heart And The Bottle
Harper Collins
The Heart and the Bottle app brings Oliver Jeffer's illustrations to life through a level of animation and interaction never before seen in a picture book app. Our combined expertise in youth engagement and interactive design enabled us to create an app that is educational and relevant to a young audience, whilst providing high quality digital content that took the picture book format to a new level - and shot straight to No. 1 in Apple's iTunes store.

Brand Guidelines
UKAD
Bold worked with UK Anti-Doping to reinvigorate their brand 100% me - an athelete-centred programme to encourage drug-free sport. The brand guidelines above are the result of design and consultation to create branding that engages athletes as much today as in ten years time.

Barts Kids Hospital Website
Barts and The London NHS Trust
The website, designed by Bold, features real-life experiences of the children in the form of video diaries and animated documentaries which highlights life on the ward. Topics ranged from why children shouldn’t be scared of needles and medical procedures, through to the experience of coming into A&E. Bold hosted a launch event, in conjunction with the BLT, attended by the children, families, staff, local health and educational organisations, a celebrity host and local media.
'The Day' Graphic Novel Series
Body and Soul
We worked with HIV/AIDS charity Body & Soul and research consultants OPM to produce three poignant graphic novels that bring young people's true stories to life. The novels are narrated by young people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS, who themselves were strongly involved in the design process through a series of interactive workshops. They powerfully reveal key moments and experiences in the lives of those affected: the day one young person told his best friend that he has HIV; the experience of coming to Body & Soul and no longer having to hide; having a long term relationship with someone who does not have HIV/AIDS; and the practice of taking medication.
Tagmap
DCLG
Tagmap is a pioneering youth geotagging application that enables young people to upload, share and map their ideas on faith, identity and citizenship. Using an innovative mash-up of Google Maps, tagging, multimedia and social networking, Tagmap lets users post comments and videos and add each other as friends. In addition to the app we also created a Tagmap Workshop Pack containing an interactive DVD, lesson plans, activities and discussion topics that has now been used by teachers accross the country to facilitate lessons on faith and identity in an open, positive and meaningful way.
Social Storm
Redbridge Council
Social Storm (A.K.A ‘Bookface’!) is an educational resource created for teachers to assist them in exploring the dangers of social networking in the classroom. The format resembles Facebook, yet the content has been entirely co-designed through interactive workshops with young people. This toolkit offers educators a captivating teaching tool that resonates with young people, whilst also enabling teachers to engage their students in group discussions to investigate issues surrounding the problem of online propaganda.
