Objectives
For the past 2 years Offsceen have organised and executed a student expedition between the Islamic Middle East and the UK, in order to create a legacy of cultural understanding and create genuinely 'Global Citizens' of the future.
Prototype Strategy
For 2010 Bold Creative in conjunction with Offscreen and Digital Explorer plan to take 8 young people on an adventure of a lifetime by bringing young people from Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar and Pakistan to the UK, then reciprocate the expedition by taking young leaders from the UK to Pakistan.
Output Ambition
We want to empower emerging youth leaders to engage their peers with a positive vision of Western-Islamic relations. Through innovative learning tools - The Classroom Media Player and digital media including Tapmap, Bold hopes to create a bridge of understanding and inspire a new generation, giving them the best chance of addressing the challenges of the future.
The project aspires to positively effect the lives of 16 young people, facilitate face-to-face discussions between over 1000 young people, amplify the positive messages to over 20,000 youth online and in the classroom, and generate quality media that reaches and educates over 2 million.
