Tagwagon
The Tagwagon is a not only a beautiful example of a vintage 1964 VW split screen campervan; but as with everything Bold has a far greater purpose; it is our bespoke community consultation tool.
Originally developed in association with Tower Hamlets Local Authority the Tagwagon’s aim was to give our projects the ultimate flexibility. But the benefit of ‘setting up shop’ right in the heart of hard-to-reach communities soon became very apparent.
Tagwagon allows us to drive into environments such as schools, community centres and estates, and canvas opinions without compromising the participants comfort. It gives us that extra level of ‘sanitation’ to our insight projects and a far deeper engagement than an uninspiring meeting room far away from the issues.
How it works
The exterior of the Tagwagon has been converted to an actual blackboard for group work with young people, where we encourage them to ‘tag’ their opinions and feedback on subjects discussed as a collective – much like if we were in a classroom.
But the interior has been converted into a film screening unit, with Tagmap video capturing facilities to create a private area for the participants to speak and record in more candour, about the real issues they face.
Our Services Combined
The value of using both Tagmap and Tagwagon as a combination of consultation techniques is powerful. It provides total immersion within the mindset of the target audience, getting first hand accounts of the real issues and importantly because we step into their environment, you get to see how their issues play out day to day.
